Compared to the 2026 model, the 2027 Ford Expedition introduces several notable changes, including an available 30th Anniversary Appearance Package exclusively available on the Platinum model. Rear-wheel drive is also now standard for Platinum and King Ranch variants, and you'll find three new exterior colors: Bronze Fire Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Nocturnal Blue Metallic, and Blue Ember Metallic.
The 2027 Ford Expedition seats up to eight with the standard second- and third-row bench seats. Choosing available second-row captain's chairs reduces seating capacity to seven, while giving occupants easier access to the third row.

One very attentive test drive later and we were back in the AC, filling out papers, and watching the new SUV go get detailed before everything was signed.
